The bubble may be deflating a bit in some places, but the engorged market in ski houses continues. In the third quarter of this year, the average price of a single-family home in Lake Tahoe was up 16% over 2004's average--and for the first time exceeded $1 million, says a Forbes.com, report, quoting the local real estate firm Chase International.
